Do Not Neglect Your Soul!

The soul is the divinely created, feminine side of our identity. It is not our total being but is the part that requires redemption. The soul is earning it way back to wholeness and immortality.

Mother Mary has warned us through her appearances in various places around the world that many souls are being lost because they have aligned themselves with darkness through drugs, alcohol, crime, or living a perverse lifestyle. When she says, "lost" it means the loss of the opportunity for eternal life and going through the second death. So, what she is talking about is serious business.

A main problem in this phenomenon is soul denial. Most people have no knowledge of their soul and may not even believe it exists because they have allowed the outer person to fill the entire space of their awareness . And so, the quiet voice of the soul and even its pleadings do not penetrate through to the outer self. People are so caught up in the allure of popular culture, the distrations of social media and entertainment, and the pursuits of worldly success and materialism, that attunement with the soul and care of the soul has been seriously neglected.

The BIG problem is that our souls are in jeopardy. As stated, the soul is not immortal. When our souls were created long ago, immortality was bestowed upon us and the soul was one with our Higher Self, which was created in the image of God. However, due to the events surrounding the fall of consciousness, the feminine aspect of our being that bought into the fallen consciousness, was separated out and required to regain its lost estate. This is the story of Adam and Eve told through allegory in the book of Genesis.

The ascended masters have provided details about the factors that led to the downfall of Adam and Eve that make the story in Genesis more understandable. For example, the more complete story has nothing to do with an apple and nothing to do with physical nakedness! We live in the aftermath of the terrible event of the Fall and mankind is still on the path of redemption. Heaven has worked tirelessly to raise the consciousness of the people through many avatars, teachers, and sages. Much ground has been regained. Many souls have attained their ascension and many more are progressing on the path to reunion with God. Unfortunately, millions of souls remain stuck in the pastimes of sensuality, pleasure, and distraction and are seriously losing spiritual ground, sliding down the slippery slope to self annihilation. And this is not a metaphor.

We do not have forever to decide to reunite with God

This message must be understood: We do not have forever to decide, as a soul, to reunite with our Higher Self, which is the Self that God created for us in the beginning of our existence. Our time is limited because the Earth is already in an 'overtime' period of allotted cycles. God is giving souls the maximum time to reclaim their identity and bond with their Higher Self, and more precisely, to bond to what is known as the 'Christ Self.' The Christ Self is what Jesus came to model for us. That same Self is within us, but if the soul by free will does not choose to bond with that Christ Self, the soul has essentially chosen mortality over immortality, and soon or later it will be no more.

You see, the cosmos is moving on and we are expected to do the same. God requires growth, progress, and advancement. We are not just the person that was born as a baby, 20, 30, or 40 years ago, according to our age. Our soul has been evolving for a very long time and the due date for each of us to graduate from the schoolroom that is Earth is long passed or is soon at hand. God is patient and merciful, but history shows that if a soul chooses not to advance after it has been given a multitude of opportunities over the ages, it is likely the soul never will.

The ascended masters have designed a path to accelerate the soul on the way home

The ascended masters understand the dilemma that mankind faces. Multitudes of them have embodied on Earth and lived through a series of incarnations as their souls gained an understanding of God and the purpose of life. Starting in 1875 with the Theosophical Society and more recently with the I AM Movement and The Summit Lighthouse, the ascended masters have released teachings to enable an individual to understand his or her soul and progress on the path to the ascension, which is the goal of life for everyone.

I used the image above of the little girl because she is sweet and loveable but also vulnerable. Her expression is blank and she seems to be looking for guidance, help, and to be loved. Our souls may have similarities with just such a young child. The ascended masters give additional insight into our souls such as by teaching that while our soul needs affection and TLC, the soul is very wise and knows the details of all of our incarnations.

Sadly, our souls have been under perpetual attack by the forces of darkness in the form of fallen angels, some incarnated and others still dwelling in the spiritual realms. Their goal is to make the soul so dysfunctional, that the soul just gives up rather than striving to fulfill reunion with her Christ Self. So, our soul, as the feminine side of our being, is precious and lovely, yet needs our loving care and protection. One way of putting it is to say that our souls need to be rescued from a dangerous and chaotic world and reintroduced to their best friend, teacher, and protector, the Christ Self.

In summary, what we want is our liberated soul, bonded to our Christ Self, and the two sitting as one in the driver's seat of our life.

The young girl, still a symbol of our soul, is now bonding with Jesus, who is one with her Christ Self.

So how does a person start to relate to their soul in a more personal way?

A good place to start is learning why the individual soul is separated from its Higher Self and accepting the fact of life that our assignment today is regaining the opportunity for eternal life. In addition, there are many avenues of learning that will help you awaken to your soul. What is needed is to make progress in gaining higher consciousness by reconnecting with the Kingdom of God that is already within you but is undeveloped. Consider working with one or more of the following means to awaken and strengthen God's Spirit within you.

Knowledge and Practices to Help Develop Higher Consciousness

• Learn about the reality of reincarnation. Read from a number of sources to get a full picture. Endnote 3

• Learn the details of the Chart of Your Divine Self. Start to think of yourself as the divine being you were created to be. This is the process of establishing a relationship with God. Make God real in your daily life.

• Begin to send love to your Christ Self as pictured in the Chart. Your soul is attached to the spiritual center (chakra) in your body known as the "Seat of the Soul." Through your devotion, when you send love to your Christ Self, your soul and Christ Self become one. This is one way to fulfill the scripture, "Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you." (James 4:8)

• Pray and call for spiritual protection for you and your loved ones using the Science of the Spoken Word. This science enables a person to invoke spiritual Light that has been known throughout the ages to help fill a person's every legitimake need including healing, guidance, harmony, and protection.

• Learn about the ascended masters and consider praying to them for personal help and sponsorship. They are divine beings in heaven and are worthy of prayer. We have known them individually for centuries when one or more has been with us, side by side, on earth as a friend or associate in a past age. Endnote 4

• For persons who are already spiritually minded, practices like eliminating addictions, practicing yoga, meditation, exercise, periodic fasting, and study are helpful for making progress on the path.

• Seek out persons who are spiritually like-minded as you are to provide support, comfort, and friendship. Endnote 5

In closing, a quote from the ascended master Saint Patrick:

"Not sin, but the will to sin, is the destroyer of souls."
